2023-2024 Preschool Registration
Cranston offers a variety of preschool classrooms pending availability:
Integrated Preschool: $200/month AM or PM half day sessions. 15 children aged 3-5 years old with and without diagnosed disabilities. IEP team placement. One teacher; two paraprofessionals.
No transportation available for peer students.

Self Contained Preschool: IEP team placement. AM or PM half day sessions. 10-12 children aged 3-5 years old with diagnosed disabilities. One teacher; two paraprofessionals.

RI PreK: RI Department of Ed annual lottery hosted at Cranston Schools. Lottery open April - June Free, full day programs for children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2019.
18-20 children with and without diagnosed disabilities. IEP services are available as Itinerant Special Education services; IEP team placement. One teacher; two paraprofessionals. No transportation available; No before or after school care on site. RI PreK lottery acceptance notifications in July

Existing Aspen Account
- If you already have an Aspen account with Cranston Public Schools skip step 1- sign in using your current User ID and password.
- If you cannot remember your login information, you may email [email protected] Please include your first and last name in email
★ BOTH your user id and password are case sensitive ★
Steps for Registration - follow the the steps below
- Requesting an Aspen Account
- On the Aspen login page click on “Request an Account”.
- Complete the online form with some basic information to create an account.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you to verify your account.
- Once your account request has been verified, login into Aspen using your email address and the password you created
- New Student Registration: Log in to Aspen:
- Scroll to “New Student Registration”
- Click: +Initiate to begin a New Student Registration
- Click on: +Initiate again
- Complete the information requested on the pop up screens
- Ensure all documents are uploaded (birth certificate, medical, proof of residency, photo ID)

- Telephone appointments: You will receive a phone call the day of your scheduled appointment to verify information. If you cannot upload your documents to the portal, you may email them to student registration after your registration has been reviewed with a registrar [email protected]
- Registrations are not complete until all documents are received.
